4 years ago, next friday was the worst day of my life. I was assaulted and then spent the rest of the day crying..
the next day, I completely ignored it and went on with my life. i suppressed it and pretended I was the same happy-go-lucky girl I've always been, but deep down inside... I was afraid. Afraid of what happened; afraid it would happen again; afraid of leaving my house; afraid of the world; afraid of my shadow...
I hated myself, I hated the world, I hated everything...
And then I realized... Everyone has demons, but we can't let ourselves be eaten by those monsters.
We have to be strong. We have to keep going. We have to keep fighting. We have to be STRONGER THAN OUR FEAR.
