forgotten

I knew they'd forget! Mom... well it was a tossup on whether she'd forget or not... I suspect most mom's don't forget the first time they have a kid.

It's been a while since I posted one of these... given what happened this morning though, it couldn't he be helped ... I don't even care if my brother's happen to see this on their laptop... which is the reason why I haven't done any of these comics since my laptop died... oh! btw laptop is going to be getting fixed soon... and I suspect is the reason why Jose knew it was my birthday (I reminded him 2 days ago in order to convince him to pay for the last $40 I needed to pay his friend to fix my laptop... friend is only charging parts... labor will be a homecooked meal I made once that reminded him of his grandmother's cooking).


I don't blame them though. Thinking about it, I realized normally I remind them of things like dates (I'm a little time obsessed... which I usually attributed to my inconsistent time-keeping abilities... turns out, it's my whole family that lives in a non-typical time bubble... dad asked me this morning how old I am... he forgot, so he settled for 23... Ben's thought I was 24 for the past 4 years, Jose thinks he's older than me, and Chaba doesn't even know how old he is... Mom claims I'm 19... because there's no way she's 50!
Anyway, yeah I don't think they're to blame for forgetting... it's because this year I didn't feel like doing a countdown... usually June 9th I'm already counting down to my b-day, which really annoys the June-borns
